Best Drones For Beginners (Reviewed October 2020)

Best Drones For Beginners (Reviewed October 2020)

Have you ever met someone who doesn’t like drones? The answer is NO! They’re stimulating, powerful, flying objects!

Everyone wants one. You can fly a drone everywhere, over mountains, lakes, trees, and even watch real-time footage with the FPV goggles. It’s an experience nothing else can beat!

Drones aka UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), are aircraft that flies without an onboard pilot. They are navigated using a remote controller with a dedicated communication network. There are various types of drones. and the most common among them is the quadcopter, which is controlled by four rotors (motors and propellers). Quadcopters are the choice drone among pilots for its simple, and safe structure.

Back in the 1900s, the drones used to be very expensive but the latest technology has made it accessible to everyone, at a reasonable price. Now, you can buy drones for as low as $25. New pilots mostly prefer to start with a low cost, durable drone until they get better at flying. You must consider a lot of things before purchasing a drone.

What are you going to use it for?

Do you want a drone that can operate indoors or you want to fly it outside?

How much do you want to spend?

Drones aren’t just toys. They have multiple applications, whether it’s commercial use, educational purpose, security, or search and rescue! They’re highly efficient especially the micro drones, due to their small size. The size, structure, and capabilities of the drone vary according to their applications. Flying a drone is fun, but there are certain things that you must know before flying your first drone.

Do’s and Don’ts for New Drone Owners:

  • Register the drone.
  • Make sure that you’ve fulfilled the legal requirement.
  • Don’t fly above 400 meters (keep it in sight).
  • Stay away (at least 5miles) from the airports.
  • Don’t fly the drone near a private property, national parks or crime scenes.

There are certain (local and international) laws associated with the use of drones. These laws are different in different countries and states. There are penalties for people who don’t abide by the law. Even extreme consequences like jail time in some cases.

Where not to Fly:

Above a private property:

Flying a drone about 200meters above private property without permission is considered aerial trespass. It goes in conflict with the security and/or privacy concerns of the given landowner. In Oklahoma (for instance), if you fly above private property, the owner can shoot down the drone.

Near metallic objects:

Avoid flying the drone near metallic objects, like power lines, cellphone towers, or microwave antenna. If you get anywhere near 10feet (more or less), it’ll interrupt the transmission and you’ll likely lose or crash the drone.

Near water:

Drones often lose connection with the controller above water, and crash if you’re shooting around a water body like lake or sea. With weak GPS signals, the drone relies on barometric sensors which don’t work accurately over water.

Near airports:

Flying a drone is around an airport must be avoided because of the air traffic. It’s difficult for other aircraft to see, and avoid the drone. In case of any safety hazard, the drone pilot is held responsible.

You don’t normally find drones in your local market around the corner, where you can conveniently buy one. They’re usually sold online, and Amazon is the best market place to buy any drone you want.

Why you should order you drone via Amazon:

1.Free shipping with Amazon Prime:

Shopping online is fun until the point when you’re about to check out and see the shipping cost! In some cases, it can be almost as much as the item itself which is really a bummer. Amazon Prime offers free shipping if your order includes items with a “FREE SHIPPING” tag, and the total cost is $25, or above. You can shop all you want without worrying about shipping costs.

2.Easy to return, or exchange:

The VR glasses you’ve been excited about are finally here! You open the package excitedly, only to find that it’s broken, or damaged! The exchange or return part can be tiresome with a lot of online buyers. But with Amazon, it’s super easy. Just go to the online return center, and conveniently exchange or return the item.

3.Great customer support:

Amazon offers a great many services, including track package, cancel orders, payments, return, and much more. You can also call, or live chat with their agent to resolve any issue.
